The sheath is made of heavy-duty material with a proprietary UV-Protected 1/8" plastic that is removable for easily clearing out sawdust and wood chips (recommended based on usage) and a weep hole in the bottom for drainage. Additionally, the portable case fits the lift arms of most compact and sub-compact tractors. John Deere tractors can also be accommodated with a separate modification piece (sold separately). Doesn't fit LS

I bought 2 of these. The 20" for my dad and the 28" for my husband. Both have LS tractors. The 28" hits the front tire. I emailed customer service to see if there was a different bracket or suggestion, or if I could return it, and didn't receive a response.

Thank you for the review, Alyssa! The LS tractors have a lift arm that is a little more forward. The 20' SawHaul Kits will fit fine, but the 28' will need the Snap-Lok Rotating Mounts to be able to angle the Scabbard back towards the driver to clear the tire. We apologize for the miscommunication on the email. While we did reply the day you contacted us, upon investigation, it shows that the reply was rejected by your email server for some reason. Good concept, useful tool, flimsy scabbard

This product is great! Their cover is great too. Any tractor owner who uses a chainsaw needs one. After owning it for 2 years with periodic use, the neck of the scabbard is disintegrating from contact with the chain teeth. It does not last as long as a stihl scabbard, but it is the most important part because it takes the weight of the saw head. Warranty does not cover it as it is considered a wear item. A new scabbard is a redesign to address the problem. It costs $80, plus shipping.

The assembly instructions were written in small letters and pictures, not very clear. I received two bolts and I’m not sure what to do with them.

Sawhaul for Massey GC2300

The sawhaul is constructed nicely, I have zero issues with the product. My only concern is the mount. At the top it is fine and all of the hardware is solid, but the bottom is unsupported and the scabbord swings around with every bump or dip as you move. I am working on a lower scabboard support to fix this, but am surprised this is not included, unless I am doing something wrong with the mount? Yes, I would buy again.
