I saw the article in the New Holland Acres magazine. It does a great job holding the saw. If there was one thing to look at it’s the scabbard sometime pulls out of the mount with the saw. Is there a way to secure them tighter?
Very sturdy, we ordered a flat surface Mount and fabricated a suitable mount for our tractor. Holds our Husky 550XP with a 18” bar well enough even over pretty rough terrain.
Ordered just your base because I wanted a custom fit on a Kawasaki Brute Force 750 as I ride tight trails and couldn’t have a mount stick out to the side. Plus the “universal” mounts look and fit terribly. I am a tradesman and have access to hydraulic metal forming equipment so I fabricated a mount. Your base fit well, is sturdy and well made and completed the project perfectly!
Mounted to tractor keeps it in place while going thru the woods.I will get another one soon to mount on the other side for a smaller saw
Made in the USA 🇺🇸! It shows in attention to detail and craftsmanship. This base kit arrived in a very attractive box, packaged well also as to protect the painted letters ( I chose orange to celebrate my loyalty to Stihl Chainsaws. I mounted my scabbard on my Jeep’s spare-tire holder. It’s going to make collecting wood much better. Bravo Sawhaul.
One thing I preferred better would be the fit between the holder and the scabbard, it was a bit loose as I like my equipment secure and not rattling around- easily fixed with some 10mil tape!!
