Overall happy with kit. Would of liked to see some eyelets on it to secure saw with bungee or strap. Thanks.
This is my 2nd SawHaul purchase. I was so pleased with my 1st one for my tractor that I purchased this. It requires 2 of the anchors either made by Polaris or by some other company such as Kemi Moto. That is an additional expense of between 35 and $50 or more. The marketing from SawHaul is actually quite misleading and doesn't come out and strongly state that these are necessary. This made me very disappointed. I did a video on this and have now posted it to YouTube. Again I think the quality of the product is good but it's incomplete and requires purchasing of 2 anchors. This needs to be more strongly indicated in the marketing.
A GREAT USA Company with an excellent product and excellent customer service!!!!!!!!!!
It is wonderful to be a customer of such a good USA company, in an atmosphere of companies
that really do not value their customers needs!!!!!
I did not use this on a Polaris. I own an older Yamaha 4 wheeler so I ordered this kit because it has the ability to change the angle for the saw so it can stay clear of the ground. I just adapted the kit mounting bracket to my situation.
I got one for my tractor, and for my Ranger for my own use. When I showed it to my neighbor, he immediately wanted one for his 4 wheeler. As a member of a snowmobile club, they go out several times and clear the trails from downed trees, brush, etc. and saws are typically bungeed, strapped or put in a trailer for the job. Having the Saw Haul on his wheeler made frequent access to the saw much easier than in and out of a bungeed case each time they came across an obstruction, or worse yet, bouncing it out of a trailer. As a fabricator, he made a custom mount for the Saw Haul base kit for his Polaris wheeler to make it even more functional. Pictures to follow.
