Snap-Lok Kits for Tractors Components

Snap-lok Scabbard

SawHaul Bracket

Snap-Lok Rotating Base Mount

Tractor Adapter Kit with UBolt and Nylocks

Instructions

  • Position the U-Bolt around the back side of the lift arm of the tractor, making sure that it is out of the way of the hydraulic pistons when it is raised completely up, completely down, and all positions in between.
  • Align the Snap-Lok Base Mount through the threads of the U-Bolt, making sure that the pull pin is positioned at the 12 o’clock position.
  • Tighten the ½” lock nuts onto the threads using the ¾” end wrench, socket, or impact.
  • Take the SawHaul Bracket out of the box and slide it over the standoffs while depressing the snap button so that it will slide over that.
  • Insert the scabbard into the bracket. This will be tight. Sometimes a gentle nudge will be required to get it to seat into the bracket tightly and correctly. Same thing with taking it out.

Instructions

  • Gather necessary tools: SawHaul bracket (#1), flat bar adapter plate (#3), Tractor U-Bolt (#4), ½″ lock nuts (#5), ⅜″ lock nuts (#7), and hardware bag.
  • Mount the SawHaul bracket (#1) to the flat bar adapter plate (#3):
    • Place the stove bolts (#7) through the convex holes in the back of the flat bar adapter plate so they sit flush.
    • Secure with ½″ lock nuts (#5) through the smaller holes in the back of the SawHaul mount and tighten using a socket and Allen wrench.
  • Position the U-bolt (#4) around the back of the tractor’s lift arm, ensuring it’s clear of any hydraulic pistons when raising or lowering.
  • Align the flat bar adapter plate (#3) with the threads of the Tractor U-bolt (#4), making sure the SawHaul mount (#1) is right-side-up (check the SawHaul sticker).
  • Tighten the ⅜″ lock nuts (#7) onto the U-bolt threads using a socket and/or end wrench.
  • Optional: If using the scabbard (#2), slide it onto the bracket first, then insert the saw into the scabbard.

Instructions

  • Gather necessary tools: SawHaul bracket (#1), ROPS adapter plate (#9), hardware bag, and scabbard (#2).
  • Align ROPS adapter plate (#9) behind the tubing and the SawHaul mount (#1) in front. Insert bolts (#11 or #12, based on individual needs) and washers (#13) through the larger holes on the inside of the metal bracket, then continue them through the ½″ holes and the adapter plate.
  • Tighten the bolts (#11) and lock nuts (#5) on the back using an end wrench and/or socket.
  • If using the scabbard (recommended), slide it into the mount first, then place the saw into the scabbard.
  • Now you’re ready to hit the trails with your saw protected by SawHaul!

Instructions

  • Gather necessary tools: SawHaul bracket (#1) and hardware bag.
  • Hold the SawHaul mount (#1) at the desired location and mark the center of each hole with a pencil.
  • Remove the SawHaul mount.
  • Drill a pilot hole using a ½″ drill bit (caution: ensure there are no wires or other hazards behind the drilling area).
  • Enlarge the pilot hole using a ⅜″ drill bit.
  • Insert a bolt (#12) and washer (#13) through each of the larger holes on the inside of the SawHaul mount.
  • Position the SawHaul mount (#1) over the pilot holes on your mounting surface so the bolts protrude through.
  • Tighten the bolts and lock nuts (#5) from behind using an end wrench or socket.
  • If using the scabbard (#2) (recommended), slide it into the mount first, then insert the saw into the scabbard.

  • Align the Snap-Lok Base Mount onto the U-Bolt threads, with the pull pin at the 12 o’clock position.
  • Tighten the ½″ lock nuts onto the U-Bolt using your end wrench, socket, or impact.
  • Remove the SawHaul Bracket from the box and slide it over the standoffs, depressing the snap button to engage.
  • Insert the scabbard into the bracket (it may require a gentle nudge to seat correctly).

Snap-Lok Kit for ROPS and Tubing

Tools Necessary: “/″ End Wrench & 9/16″ Socket or Impact

  • Remove the rear plate from the Snap-Lok system by undoing the lock nuts on the bolts.
  • Position the Snap-Lok assembly around your tubing, feeding the bolts on either side of the tube.
  • Place the rear plate holes over both bolts, U-shape facing the tubing.
  • Secure the bolts:
    • Hold the bolt heads from spinning by slipping a skinny end wrench between the Snap-Lok plates.
    • Tighten the nuts on the outside with the "/" wrench and 9/16″ socket.
  • Slide the SawHaul Bracket onto the standoffs, pressing the snap button until it clicks.
  • Insert the scabbard into the bracket (a firm push may be needed).

Snap-Lok Base with Scabbard

Tools Necessary: Pencil, Drill, 1/8″ bit, 3/8″ bit, and either 2 × 3/8″ Lag Bolts (for wood) or 2 × 3/8″ Bolts & Lock Nuts (for metal) plus a 9/16″ open-end wrench and socket

  • Place the Snap-Lok base in its final position, checking for clearance.
  • Mark the back-plate hole centers with a pencil.
  • Drill 1/8″ pilot holes at the marks.
  • Switch to a 3/8″ bit and enlarge each hole.
  • Fasten to your surface:
    • Wood: Drive lag bolts into studs or solid wood, avoiding bolt strip-out.
    • Metal: Insert bolts through the holes, add lock nuts on the opposite side, and tighten with a 9/16″ wrench and socket.
  • Slide the scabbard into the base mount.
  • Insert your saw into the seated scabbard.
